This latest addition to our huge range of Light Boxes for S.A.D meets a very definite need for those who want a very small unit which fits comfortably on any desk for those who have a little more time to spare for their treatment time.t produces a full spectrum of natural light with low energy usage. Typically, 30-60 minutes of exposure each day is sufficient for most people. However the light can be used as often as required. The lamp can be used at any time during the day but not within three hours of going to bed, although research has shown that morning use is the most beneficial time. Users will recognise when sufficient light treatment is achieved - most often by a feeling of heightened alertness, energy and mood.

• Only use power adapter supplied with this product
• This product should only be used and stored at temperatures between 10-50 degrees celcius and in areas with a humidity less than 60%.
• Do not leave your light unattended when plugged in.
• if the long life, low energy. high efficiency LEDs fail, please contact Rio or its service agent.
• The unit may be cleaned by wiping with a damp cloth. Do not use solvents or detergents.
• Take care that the unit is NOT brought into contact with water or heat-producing products as this may cause damage and pose a potential fore hazard.

Precautions

• Do NOT look directly at the light for prolonged periods
• Position the light a minimum of 50cm away from your face
• Do not use this product if you have had laser corrective eye tretment in teh past month
• Do not use this product if you are currently taking any medicines including antibiotics which may cause you to be sensitive to light.
• After the first few uses you may experience some eye strain or light headache, such side effects tend to disappear quickly.
• Occasionally some mild sdie-effetcs may occur including headaches, a 'stinging' sensation in the eyes and on rare occasions, nausea. These should disappear after a few days when your body has adjusted to the light.
• Please consult your docotr beofre using the SAD light if you suffer form depression, are hypersensitive to light or you have high blood pressure.
