In the move to become more energy efficient, we have replaced the old style 40W neodymium bulbs with a new 28W ‘natural light' bulb.
The change of bulb does not affect the performance of the Bodyclock Classic. The light output from the 28W halogen is roughly equivalent to the 40W traditional incandescent bulb originally supplied with this product.

A true alternative to regular candle bulbs, these Halogen bulbs produce a crisp clean white light, without the need for a transformer. The bulbs are fully dimmable and offer a life expectancy of 2000hr. They also contain an integral safety fuse to ensure a safe end to the lamp life making them suitable for use in open luminaires.
Aesthetically, these lamps offer the best replacement to traditional lamps.
